Yes, with the free profile you or your photo studio will be found free of charge in your region, you can post a profile picture and up to 50 portfolio photos and write something about yourself.

If you want to be found even better as a photographer and have further advantages, you can book a Premium and Pro profile.

Packages & prices at a glance

Any professional photographer, whether freelance, self-employed or with his or her own studio, can create a profile in the photographer search. Pure hobby photographers are not included in the photographer search.

When a request is received in your region, we will automatically inform you by e-mail. We will give you all the necessary information (e.g. description of the request, budget, region and desired date of the customer) so that you can decide whether this request is of interest to you.

A Premium and Pro profile is required to receive the customer's contact details. You can find the prices here.

After activation, the contact details will be sent directly by email. Please get in touch within 3 working days.

We will let you know what information we have before the contact details are activated. You will always receive a contact person and an e-mail address from us. We recommend that our customers provide as much information as possible.

Every customer who submits a request must confirm it by email. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that customers can be reached.

Premium profiles are listed preferentially. They offer more opportunities to present your studio and be found more easily by new customers. Free profiles are only listed afterwards.

With a premium profile, you can respond to all photo jobs in your area (up to 100 kilometers) and contact customers directly. More than 1,000 photo jobs are placed in the photographer search every year.

We advertise the photographer search and ensure a large number of site visitors. You benefit from these visitor numbers with your professional profile.

Pro profiles are listed before Free and Premium profiles. They offer even more opportunities to be found better by new customers. With a Pro profile, you can respond to all photo jobs (no matter how far away from your location) and contact clients directly.

If you work in Hamburg, for example, but also photograph weddings on Sylt or in Berlin, the Pro profile is ideal. You can activate up to 100 photo jobs per month in the Pro profile.

With the Premium and Pro profiles, you will appear on the search pages before all photographers with free profiles. This means you will always be found in the best possible way in all searches and will be given priority.

We recommend that you always keep your profile up to date and update your portfolio regularly. You can also refer to your social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook etc. and link to your own homepage.

This depends on the package you choose. The free profile includes up to 50 portfolio photos. In a Premium or Pro profile, you can upload up to 200 photos and sort them by category. You can of course delete the photos at any time and replace them with new photos.

In order for customers to get an idea of your style, you must upload a profile picture and at least 5 portfolio photos.

The photos are displayed in a maximum size of 2000 pixels. If you upload a larger photo, we will resize it accordingly. It is in our interest to present only high-quality photos. The portfolio is your business card. Please make sure that there are no advertisements or image distortions (grids, lines, etc.) on the photos. Discreet watermarks in the bottom 10% of the photo are of course no problem.

Please note: Collages, poorly resolved / pixelated photos, photo book designs, photos with text content, snapshots, unsuitable photos and photos with frames will be deleted by us. If necessary, please place your watermark discreetly at the bottom of the image.

Each photographer can set a square profile picture that will be displayed on all search pages. Profiles with a profile picture are always displayed before the results without a profile picture. Please make sure that a logo is only used in the profile picture and not in the portfolio. Otherwise, the same rules apply as for portfolio photos.

You retain all rights to your photos. We only display the photos on portraitbox (photographer search / homepage / blog / Facebook page, instagram page). Please make sure that you are allowed to publish all photos on the internet. We assume no liability for your photos. Our general terms and conditions apply.

Only one profile per address is possible. We want to keep the quality of the photographer search at the highest level. If several photo studios or freelancers work at one postal address, this is of course possible. Duplicate or fake profiles will be deleted by us.
